Napping Nester...

Today Emma decided to use the new sun bench cushions as napping mats. She loves the sunshine and today was gorgeous. I knew it was time for her nap so went looking for her and found her snuggling down. She said, "I's seepy" (translated--I'm sleepy). I checked back after lying Caleb down and she was asleep! It was so precious I had to take a picture (or two or three.)

Great Grandma--do the blue lawn chair houses make you remember playtime with me at her age? Good times!

First Tooth for Pirana boy!

Ironically, I put Caleb's pirana shirt on him today! I was letting him gnaw on my leg while I fixed Emma's lunch (if you're a Mom you've been there) and it hurt. I reached in his mouth and there was a little sharp white tooth! Yeah! I tried to get a pic of his tooth and of his shirt with the pirana's on it! He he he!

Daddy's home...go get him!

I have learned not to say anything until Darren has entered the house. Otherwise, there is banging on the door and general knashing of teeth (and gums). When he does open the door I shout, "Daddy's home--go get him!" This is the mad dash that follows. Caleb is getting pretty fast! Sometimes, I help him. Thought ya'll would enjoy pics of Darren's daily reward! I love my man and they love their Daddy!

Notice---a little competition for the lap! He he he!

Feet Measurements...

It is funny the things that we Mommies find exciting to do. Andrea was measuring Zeke's feet to Emma's feet! Zeke took a grab for Emma's paci! It was hilarious! It is good to laugh with friends!

Cleary cute!

I know the video is blurry. I'm not sure what happened but here is a pretty good still shot of our little man and his bike!

Hot Rod Boy

Vroom vroom!

The little man finally was allowed down onto the grass yesterday. It was 72 and he was raring to go! He is such a busy boy. He wasn't sure he liked the grass but quickly decided to take off after the toys. He was standing and rocking this tricycle. He now crawls at warp speed. He was "chasing" his sister around yesterday--both of them squealing at top volume! I'm sorry I didn't catch it on video for you.

Playing Nice with Buddy Boys

We've been enjoying some new friendships at church. I've discovered that my sweet Emma is a bit of a "bossy mother" type. Ha ha ha--don't know where she gets that from. Overall, I observe her to be kind and caring, so that is good. Caleb is a jolly man--so nice! Little Zeke makes some of the cutest faces lately and although a year younger than Emma and two months older than Caleb, he plays great with both. Good times!
