I had Darren tape bathtime with the Crazies! Emma was never big on splashing but Caleb never stops splashing--even when he's drowning himself and others! Anyone doing baths will most like be soaked and have to change shirts and mop the floor! It is very cute though! Emma likes to "help" us and believes that because we dump water over her head to rinse her hair that she should do the same for her brother. Two year olds--they're so helpful!

Hawaii, Corn chips and Playhouses...
Today was my last MOPS meeting. It had a Hawaiian theme so we all had play Leis. It was fun but even more fun was watching the kids play with it all afternoon! Emma would put it on Caleb, then take it back (as is her custom), again and again. I love these close ups of the babe! His allergies have been bad these last few days so I've kept him on Benedryl and that keeps him happier.
Look at the soft, fuzzy baby hair! It is growing over his ears but I'm not ready to cut it yet!
Emma "made" her playhouse all by herself today. She had a great time...as I think ya'll can tell!
We shared snack today--corn chips! Don't worry, I watched closely. Caleb sucked them until they became soggy. Emma would then announce, "Mess" and I would switch him for a new one! He had a great time and it was very peaceful--amazing for snack time!

Caleb's Baby Dedication
Sorry, I forgot my camera. I did manage to get these pictures from a friend. They had trouble too--because of the lighting. Thankfully, the point is not the cute pictures for the baby book but the fact that we are committed to raising Caleb (and Emma) in the nurture and admonition of the Lord! God has been so good in leading us to GRBC! Praise Him!

Walker Boy is on the move....
Caleb has really gotten the hang of this walker thing! He will take anything and make it into a walker if he can't find this real one. He will use his barn, his sister's toy stroller, and the Dora car! All very entertaining. He gets quite annoyed when he can't run over the things in his way. I just had to catch this on video for ya'll. He is such a fun little bug! I know, I sound like a total nut in the background but this just truly excites me!

Toddlers can sleep anywhere...

Emma woke up from her nap early and wanted to come into the computer room with me (yes, I do blog during naptime). Our new rule is that the paci only lives in her bed so she had to give it up to come with me. I was shocked that she agreed. She sat down in the video rocker and curled into this odd knot and went back to sleep. What's really funny is that without her paci she is squeaking and chirping in her sleep. I think she's dreaming. Reminds me of my childhood dog, Spots. If she starts running in place I'll let you know! HA!

Lovely Legs in the Morning!

I love morning time at our house. It's not that I'm not tired--the first thing I do is get some coffee--it's that my babies are snuggly and the day is still quiet. I hardly get a chance to hold Emma these days because she is so busy. She also tends to be a true Daddy's girl and is most often on his lap if he is available. This morning she wanted to be snuggled in my shawl and we were laughing about our lovely legs. She says, "Luzly luzly." I'm not sure she knew what I meant but she was being lovey!
This is one of those weird pictures that I know will make me teary later when I'm old! My sweet baby girl's legs with her Mama's! Notice the unshaved paleness of mine and the bruised two-year-oldness of hers! HA!
