Strong Man and His Car

Caleb can push this car anywhere through the grass! It is sooo cute! He is very determined--especially when trying to catch up with his sister! I have no doubts that by the end of the summer he will be giving her quite the run for her money!

More Zoo Pics!

Emma and Zeke were fascinated by a Meerkat digging in his sand area. It was pretty funny!
We fed the giraffe a sweet potatoe slice. You don't realize how big their heads are until it's that close to you! WOW!
Gotta love that long purple tongue! It was soft and pretty dry--sort of like a horse!

Indy Zoo Trip

Andrea and Zeke took such a sweet picture by the flamingos that I thought I'd try it too!
Emma was in rotten terrible two form today. Never, I repeat NEVER, let your child wear crocs to the zoo. She wouldn't keep them on--and amazingly they both came home. She wouldn't walk, sit, cooperate--GRRRR! You can tell that I'm trying to smile and deal with her but "God, give me strength!" Please pray with me!
She's yelling NO in case you're wondering!
Hey, look she's walking! Yikes-- a lizard! The Desert is HOT!
Caleb and Zeke were good travelling buddies! Caleb slept through most of our visit--whoohoo! FYI--watch out their dolphin show is brutally "GREEN" --it was nauseating! I actually wrote a comment to the zoo when I got home--and I don't do that sort of thing!
Mommy's tired--and they are both asleep so I'm laying down for a bit! ZZZZ!

Bathtime Crazies

I had Darren tape bathtime with the Crazies! Emma was never big on splashing but Caleb never stops splashing--even when he's drowning himself and others! Anyone doing baths will most like be soaked and have to change shirts and mop the floor! It is very cute though! Emma likes to "help" us and believes that because we dump water over her head to rinse her hair that she should do the same for her brother. Two year olds--they're so helpful!

Hawaii, Corn chips and Playhouses...

Today was my last MOPS meeting. It had a Hawaiian theme so we all had play Leis. It was fun but even more fun was watching the kids play with it all afternoon! Emma would put it on Caleb, then take it back (as is her custom), again and again. I love these close ups of the babe! His allergies have been bad these last few days so I've kept him on Benedryl and that keeps him happier.

Look at the soft, fuzzy baby hair! It is growing over his ears but I'm not ready to cut it yet!
Emma "made" her playhouse all by herself today. She had a great time...as I think ya'll can tell!
We shared snack today--corn chips! Don't worry, I watched closely. Caleb sucked them until they became soggy. Emma would then announce, "Mess" and I would switch him for a new one! He had a great time and it was very peaceful--amazing for snack time!

Sunday Morning Nap?

Our family is very accustomed to Sunday afternoon naps but morning naps? Darren and Caleb were all ready for church (early because of additional people getting ready) and they took a cute nap! Awwww!

Caleb's Baby Dedication

Sorry, I forgot my camera. I did manage to get these pictures from a friend. They had trouble too--because of the lighting. Thankfully, the point is not the cute pictures for the baby book but the fact that we are committed to raising Caleb (and Emma) in the nurture and admonition of the Lord! God has been so good in leading us to GRBC! Praise Him!
