Mr. Pink Socks...

Emma decided to choose pink socks for Caleb last night. I ran out to the grocery store and left Darren to bathe and dress the kids. Isn't he so awesome! I came back and he told me Emma had picked out the socks and insisted that Caleb wanted to wear them. It was too cute.

Notice his bottle is pink--I refused to buy all new bottles when I had them in so many colors. Pink or purple once in a while never hurt any boy--but I don't generally dress him in it!
Sweet baby boy and his bottle.... Enjoy this picture folks 'cuz he is going to a sippy cup. He still has his morning and evening bottles though. My baby...my baby...sniff...sniff!

Last Vacation Photos...really!

Well, I took tons of pics but I'll stop at these two and get back to normal life tomorrow. Here's one of the two cuties playing in the sand--wet sand is sticky!

Here is Emma sharing her duck and blankie with Toto. He must have looked sleepy. He put up with so much--he probably was sleepy! HA! Notice how nicely she tucked it around him!

Friday Funtimes!

Emma and Toto are buddies! He was so patient with her. She kept trying to talk him into napping with her--but he's hot blooded and didn't really want to. He is so sweet--and is very bothered when anyone cries!

Emma got perfumed chap stick from Nana--and put it everywhere--except her lips! She even shared with Caleb. Why is it that they share the things you DON'T want them to share?

My sweet friends took time off work and drove to see me for a few hours. The visit was too short, unfortunately! We'll do better next year!
I got something on my shirt--that's why I'm holding my hand there like a dork! We're still dopey 'ole friends!

Picking tomatoes with Nana...

How to pick tomatoes:

First, you walk out to the garden. Holding hands is good and very cute!

Nana has to put poison on her plants so she washes it off and THEN, you let her loosen it a little!
Next, you pick it up!
Oooo, sidetrack to the neat purple thingy blowing in the breeze!
Last, wash the tomatoes off in the rain bucket and chase a little toad for a bit!

The Otsego County Fair!

I have realized that I am raising "city kids" and wanted to make sure that my sweet boobahs saw real animals while in NY. We went to the Otsego County Fair and had a great time! Emma was very brave and was able to pet a cow (technically calf) and horse (sorry, the picture in the horse barn turned out too dark).

She loved the baby bunnies! If she'd been able, I think she would have touched one of them too. We couldn't let her poke them through the cages. My favorite are the flop eared bunnies.
Caleb was very alert around the chickens and roosters. They do make a ruckus!
Emma was NOT going to pet a chicken. I guess I can't blame her--they could peck ya!
Here is a picture of my cute Grandpa (or Papa) grilling. He is the only one I've seen wear his apron. I made the guys each one a few years back. It has Emma's hand prints on it and says something like, "Greatest Grilling Grandpa."

Ahhhh!

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation! I'll try to detail it out throughout the next few days--I took LOTS of pictures! Here are a few to get you started!

Mommy and her sleepy babes!
Caleb in his hot sling! This turned out great for our walks through the woods! Strollers don't do off roading!
Mommy and her babies! I love this picture! Tiptoeing through the clover!
Daddy and his girl! She liked to be carried through the tall grass! She's still a baby, right?
