Improving...

Just as MomE came out of a doozy of a head cold, Caleb began the awfulness of stomach bug symptoms. He missed two days of school...and was a very snuggly, sweet boy.

MomE pushed lots of liquids...lots...and prayed ALOT...that the rest of us would be spared.

And so far, it seems that God has been merciful.
It's a normal Saturday morning around here...Caleb and DadE are Minecrafting together saying hilarious things like, "Wait up!  A cow fell in front of me!"  Or..."Stop taking my chickens"  Or..."Who burned down the forest!?"  Hilarious!   I have no idea what's going on and I like it that way!  Emma is reading Minecraft books aloud to them...for helpful hints.  Listening to her read, for pleasure, delights my heart!!
,
Tonight, we are hoping all is well and we can go to church for a special Family Night.  Since we missed last Sunday due to plumbing issues and midweek Life Group due to illness...we are really missing our Church Family.  You're supposed to bring a dessert to share...but I think that, for once, MomE is going to buy a dessert to share.  *gasp*  I know, shocking.

More Snowy Fun-ness!

Here are the Cutenesses making snow angels and a pretty decent snowman with DadE! I'm glad they got a chance to play before the wind came roaring in and brought temperatures to a frigid 6 degrees, with a -30 windchill. Brrrrrr!

Shoveling Snow!

Yay...snow!!!  They stayed outside for a record 45 minutes.  Playing in the snow is an ordeal...especially in a state where investing in snow suits would be a waste of money.  They were very helpful for about 10 minutes...and then ran off to play!
They had snow EVERYWHERE...even in their undies. BRRRR! Caleb caught a shovel full of snow in face and then they were DONE!  Rather than mess with drying stuff...I just shoved it all in the washer. I figure it needed a washing anyhew.

It sure is pretty...and welcome on a Saturday that we don't have anywhere we have to be. Ahhh.
PS: MomE is so thankful for DadE and his shoveling skills! She feels SUPER blessed!!
