Emma's Haircut!

Emma's hair has really grown these past few months. It constantly gets in her eyes and she doesn't like me messing with it so, we got it cut! She had to sit on two booster seats at Great Clips. She loved looking at herself in the mirror! Stephanie usually does my hair--and she's great! Emma loved her! They even give you a special book that the first clippings go into! Neato!

BEFORE:
(long and crooked bangs via Mommy)
AFTER:
It is "stacked" in the back and longer to the chin!

Look at all that blond fluff on the floor! She looks so cute and chipper with this cut. It sooo fits her little personality! Everyone at church today just loved it!

Bambam and Bambett

Don't worry! He's banging with hollow plastic letters and she was banging with a little plastic doll chair. It was so funny--and I figured they couldn't break anything--so I ran and got my camera! Anyway, my house sounds like bedlam!

Whoohoo...it's time to Paaarrrttyy!

Ha ha ha! Wanna come visit?

Sorry this is sooo fuzzy. We're going to get a new camera with more mega pixels so things should improve!

Monday Memories...

I was recently lamenting the fact that many of Emma's baby pics were missed due to my not being awakened to the world of blogging. I did e-mail pics to many of you but so many of others missed her cuteness. Soooo, here are so memories...

As I recall, she was smiling at her Uncle Dave in Barnes and Nobles! Isn't she a peach!?
I love this onesie. Somehow, I missed it with Caleb. I fully intended to have pics of both kids in this outfit. Oh well! She's such a succulent babe and was worth the looonnngg pregnant wait!

Kitty Cat Mustache...

Emma made a mustache with ball point pen on her little face. I thought it was so cute. I said, "Emma, let me take a picture of your cute mustache." She replied, "No, iz not a moostesh...itza kitty cat." Then she got right in my face and said, "MEOW!" I laughed and hugged her--and told her I loved her sillies!

Funtimes Friday...

We watched the polar bear swimming. It is amazing--they are such relaxed swimmers. They hardly use their hind legs at all--accept to push off of the walls! Very COOL!

Ian pulled Emma's chariot all around the zoo. What a good friend!
The hind ends of Ian, Emma and Elephant!

Grrrrr---checking out the lions!
Smile!
Mr. Lion laid down--so I zoomed in to show what we were all looking at so you could see too!

Emma's Third Birthday!

Emma had a polka dotted lemon cake this year! FYI--tootsie rolls "sweat" and get shiny when you roll them out and put them on cakes. I got the idea out of Family Fun Magazine--they failed to mention this issue! Oh well--still looked cute!
Emma reading one of her cards about being three. It is hard to hold up three fingers!
One of Emma's presents was a pink sleeping bag! Oooooo--she really liked it!

Mr. Pink Socks...

Emma decided to choose pink socks for Caleb last night. I ran out to the grocery store and left Darren to bathe and dress the kids. Isn't he so awesome! I came back and he told me Emma had picked out the socks and insisted that Caleb wanted to wear them. It was too cute.

Notice his bottle is pink--I refused to buy all new bottles when I had them in so many colors. Pink or purple once in a while never hurt any boy--but I don't generally dress him in it!
Sweet baby boy and his bottle.... Enjoy this picture folks 'cuz he is going to a sippy cup. He still has his morning and evening bottles though. My baby...my baby...sniff...sniff!

Last Vacation Photos...really!

Well, I took tons of pics but I'll stop at these two and get back to normal life tomorrow. Here's one of the two cuties playing in the sand--wet sand is sticky!

Here is Emma sharing her duck and blankie with Toto. He must have looked sleepy. He put up with so much--he probably was sleepy! HA! Notice how nicely she tucked it around him!

Friday Funtimes!

Emma and Toto are buddies! He was so patient with her. She kept trying to talk him into napping with her--but he's hot blooded and didn't really want to. He is so sweet--and is very bothered when anyone cries!

Emma got perfumed chap stick from Nana--and put it everywhere--except her lips! She even shared with Caleb. Why is it that they share the things you DON'T want them to share?

My sweet friends took time off work and drove to see me for a few hours. The visit was too short, unfortunately! We'll do better next year!
I got something on my shirt--that's why I'm holding my hand there like a dork! We're still dopey 'ole friends!

Picking tomatoes with Nana...

How to pick tomatoes:

First, you walk out to the garden. Holding hands is good and very cute!

Nana has to put poison on her plants so she washes it off and THEN, you let her loosen it a little!
Next, you pick it up!
Oooo, sidetrack to the neat purple thingy blowing in the breeze!
Last, wash the tomatoes off in the rain bucket and chase a little toad for a bit!

Wordless Wednesday

The Otsego County Fair!

I have realized that I am raising "city kids" and wanted to make sure that my sweet boobahs saw real animals while in NY. We went to the Otsego County Fair and had a great time! Emma was very brave and was able to pet a cow (technically calf) and horse (sorry, the picture in the horse barn turned out too dark).

She loved the baby bunnies! If she'd been able, I think she would have touched one of them too. We couldn't let her poke them through the cages. My favorite are the flop eared bunnies.
Caleb was very alert around the chickens and roosters. They do make a ruckus!
Emma was NOT going to pet a chicken. I guess I can't blame her--they could peck ya!
Here is a picture of my cute Grandpa (or Papa) grilling. He is the only one I've seen wear his apron. I made the guys each one a few years back. It has Emma's hand prints on it and says something like, "Greatest Grilling Grandpa."

Ahhhh!

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation! I'll try to detail it out throughout the next few days--I took LOTS of pictures! Here are a few to get you started!

Mommy and her sleepy babes!
Caleb in his hot sling! This turned out great for our walks through the woods! Strollers don't do off roading!
Mommy and her babies! I love this picture! Tiptoeing through the clover!
Daddy and his girl! She liked to be carried through the tall grass! She's still a baby, right?
