Spelling & Karate

Collaborative learning...that's the name of our game! Emma just started up spelling words (and tests!) so Nana has been making nifty spelling stories for her! Here is her first one...very proudly completed!

Caleb is cracking me up....he plays quite well by himself in the afternoons.  It's funny to me that although he's never really seen karate, other than kung fu panda and sesame street, he is fascinated with it lately!  I'll be working on something and hear...."HI...YA!" coming from the backyard. 

Yes...they are back in shorts...it's in the mid 70s!  Please...puh...leaze...nobody get sick again!!!
