They've been having bouncy ball contests/races all morning...and playing so very well together.  This is nice...and I'm trying to notice and be thankful when they are playing well together.

Yes, the shoes are on the wrong feet...He has a 50/50 chance of getting that right...but well...he's still 3 ya know!

Emmer-bean evidently takes after MomE...who has trouble keeping her eyes open when having her picture taken...but this was SO cute with Mr. Brother peaking around her...that I had to share it anyway.

Emma has been on a writing kick lately.  She's even agreeing to go left to right across the page...which is an improvement.  *sigh* I do NOT understand the left-handed mind!

We had the neatest talk about the difference between GrandPa and GrandMa...she's really getting it!  She got confused and wrote Grandpa, Grandma, Grandma on one card...and so...when she made the next one...

She wrote...Grandpa, Grandma, Grandma...Hey, practice is practice!  I'm so proud!! FYI- Don't expect the cards anytime soon ya'll...cuz she's never quite pleased with them...says they're not ready.  *sigh* a perfectionist...now WHERE does she get THAT from!!?

"Chalk it up"...

...comes from keeping score in a game on a blackboard. Metaphorically, it means that some factor has led to some sort of victory or accomplishment. Said sarcastically or derisively, it means that the thing leading to the accomplishment is unearned or to be deplored.

OR...I could just be talking about writing with chalk...everywhere...and anywhere...

...on the driveway, sidewalk, house, screenporch, face, hair, feet...argh.
