Tough Turkeys

It's been one of those days.  Occasional moments of peace...broken up by intense spells of defiance and disobedience...and discipline.  MomE is exhausted...and crying out to God for new strength for the afternoon.  Why am I tired?  I'm trying to obey God myself!

Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.  Proverbs 13:24
Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him.  Proverbs 22:15
Don't fail to discipline your children. They won't die if you spank them.
Proverbs 22:13
Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid.
Proverbs 12:1
Discipline your son, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to his death.
Proverbs 19:18

Hang in there MomE! The more consistant you are now, the less you will be doing this in the future. Your children will rise up and call you blessed. I have reaped some of those "blessed" comments from my most individualistic daughter.
Love you,
Beverly
