Have you written your Christmas gratitude notes? A wonderful teaching opportunity. This year they are in Emma's "voice" and she dictated what they should say...and then signed her name (very good practice)...
Love your calligraphied and framed verse. When I was a teen we had to memorize Philippians 4 for a wilderness trip, and in order to remember 4:8 correctly, we created the word "THRPLE" - True, Honest, Right, Pure, Lovely, Excellent or worthy of praise. Years later Amy and I used that word as code in tough situations. She even has a bracelet with thrple on it. :)
Oh, I love that idea...I will SO be using that in the future. THRPLE.
The picture is a cross-stitch that my Mom made and gave to me when I left for college. Pretty appropriate. I had it hung by the TV (also appropriate) but moved things about for the New Year. Smiles!
