We have carpenter bees attacking our swing set. They are a bumblebee look a like. We treated for it last year...it worked...until this year. We need to treat again...but in the meantime...
DadE is a total phob about bugs...especially spiders and bees. After I had Curious Georgette ignoring them (Sweet Boy doesn't even see them, I guess)...he came home from work and freaked her out...so now she screeches about the
buggies until you come try to scare them away.
It is hilarious to try and catch these fast buggers. They hover and then zip in any direction. I managed to bat one down onto the lawn and we squashed it. The others we keep chasing...for our neighbors entertainment, I'm sure! Between this and my screaming at the squirrels we are the best neighbors...at least we have to win the prize for most hilarious!

that's crazy.. but I suppose we have tons of wasps out here.. not sure how we're going to deal with those yet either!
